Roman Dirge – Lenore, The Cute Little Dead Girl

Lenore, "The Cute Little Dead Girl" is a macabre character created by Roman Dirge, inspired by the poem "Lenore" by the great Edgar Allan Poe.

At first, the adventures of this particular girl were translated into comics with black humor and twisted endings, but his fame came when he made a animated series with 26 episodes that were broadcast on television.

Lenore is a 10-year-old undead girl who lives in a mansion with her other creepy friends. In life, she became seriously ill, and his parents to see her beauty decided to embalm. However, she is still alive and is even aware of their status as “undead”. Her character has developed from being a somewhat malicious character in the early comics, hurting people out of spite or revenge, to a well-meaning but dim character that kills people by “accident”, stemming from the fact that Lenore is generally unaware of her surroundings as well as the fact that she is dead. Lenore says she loves animals (especially cats), but she constantly kills all her pets.

Here’s the first episode, but you can see the full macabre series on the official website of the author.

Diluvio – Luis, Lucia and the wolf

With an impressive use of stop motion and a creepy atmosphere by the voices as the scenery, today I leave you with the story of "Lucía, Luis and the Wolf", by the team of Diluvio, formed by the artists Joaquín Cociña, Cristóbal León and Niles Atallah.

The story is divided into two parts: "Luis" and "Lucia", which are the names of the protagonists children. She thinks that Luis is a werewolf that haunts her, and he, with some apparent personality changes, does not understand why Lucy flees from him.
