Jason Hopkins – Abhominal

I would not know how to describe the work of Jason Hopkins, but what is clear is that these surreal organic forms not leave anyone indifferent. Made in 3D with a hyper realist finish, this macabre artist is out of the conventional and creates bizarre, strange and deformed characters...

Although perhaps the deformed are us.

Grzegorz Kmin, Aspius

Today we bring the macabre illustrator Grzegorz Kmin, artistically known as Aspius. With stunning use of textures and a high level of detail, Aspius surprises us with chaotic and creepy artworks, which elaborates playing between the surreal and macabre world.

This Polish artist tells us that since childhood has always been passionate about both biology and drawing. He chose drawing and studied fine arts, or at least tried, as was unsuccessful and ended up doing the career of Biology. Later, with the arrival of new technologies, he switched to Computer, where he got a job as a graphic designer and operator of printers and scanners. Finally he became a freelance designer and illustrator to date.

If you want to know more about this dark illustrator, go through the "bio" section of his website, where he will tell you up to capacity of his hard drive (2 x 250 GB).

Mottla Art

The bloody illustrator Mottla Art, tells us on his website that his macabre style has been developed over the years and with the influence of Silent Hill, Hellraiser and John Carpenter. He also comments that his main support is the music, because he has worked for extreme metal bands like Viscera, Brain Drill or Aborted, among others.

No doubt this is a great artist with a clear, creative and critical style, and above all brutally macabre, as we like.
