Zane Wylie, born in Isle au Haut, Maine, USA
His work emerged from a desire to create on a canvas that was a work of art in and of itself.
Zane enjoys carving traditional Celtic, Viking and Christian religious symbols based on the shape size and origin of the skull he is working on.
Each skull is purchased from an educational supply house and evaluated by a forensic pathologist for a deeper understanding and insight of the pieces he works on. Each skull is given the respect it deserves as a vessel that once contained the soul of a creature that was fearfully and wonderfully made.
Despite the rumors Zane can’t guarantee that any “visitations” or “paranormal phenomenon” will happen in association with the purchase and presence of one of his carved real human skulls.
The originals typically don't stay available for long once they are released to the public but the replicas of the originals he carves are always available.
Each skull whether it's a replica or original comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
It is perfectly legal possess and to sell Human Bones in the United States since 1987 (except New York, Georgia & Tennessee). If you reside outside the U.S., you must be responsible to know your country laws before ordering.Do you like this artist? Share!:
