Andrei Tabone Biography

Malta, born 2005

I paint your dreams and nightmares...

My themes of interest are surrealism and symbolic art. Having a profound interest in esotericism and spirituality, I fuse these elements and unconscious imagery into my art, to express the unseen through the tangible. My work is a journey into surrealism with esoteric and hidden metaphors that fuse symbols with dreamlike landscapes.

The mediums I work with are diverse however, I find myself liking inks and oils.

Despite having influences, I tend to work without being 'inspired' by other artists. However, the artists which I look up to are Zdzisław Beksiński, Remedios Varo, Gustave Doré and Salvador Dalí.

I am a university student currently studying for a BFA in Digital Arts. I was born and live in Malta.
