Dora Keleti Biography

Hungary, born 1975

I was born in 1975 in Budapest, Hungary into a family where art was the heartbeat of daily life, so I was destined to embrace a creative path.

My father, grandfather and 3 uncles all painters, nurtured me in an environment steeped in artistic tradition. From the age 6, under the guidance of my father and grandfatherm I began learning the fundamentals of drawing. This early exposure laid the groundwork for my future endeavors.

Oil paint on canvas is my favourite, mainly portraits. Creating a face is an incredibly interesting journey. It always thrilled me to see how much emotion could be expressed like this.
