Once upon a time...
Just kidding! Too old for fairytales, but I’ll keep it brief.
As a child, I was always drawing. I remember being captivated by my mother’s artwork that accompanied my poems. Her quick and agile strokes filled me with admiration and inspired my creativity.
Life took some unexpected turns, and during tough times, I found myself sneaking into my teacher's desk to pinch a pristine notebook. It was beautiful and felt precious. With my worn-out felt pens, I began to draw—a form of escape that I cherished. However, as life grew even more complex, I found myself putting down the pencil and becoming an adult before I got to 9.
I jumped into the work just two days after finishing school, juggling two jobs for most of my life. The relentless pace of life left little room to breathe. Then, in May 2024, I hit a wall—total burnout. It was a wake-up call that reminded me of the importance of carving out time for myself. And I started to say "No!" ...
With this newfound space, I decided to embrace my passion for art once again. I bought paper, brushes, and watercolors, even though I felt out of my depth after so many years. I experimented with various mediums, trying watercolor, crayons, and eventually settling on acrylics. And oh, how I fell in love with acrylics!
. It's like music... I'm in love...
The joy of creating backgrounds, stretching paint, and discovering how colors bleed within one another, it feels just right. I started noticing the beauty around me more, capturing moments with my camera. Often, the titles for my paintings come to me instantly, inspired by the world around me.
I embrace the fact that my art doesn’t aim to replicate reality; instead, I focus on creating pieces that are ironic, beautiful, or thought-provoking. My goal is to evoke  a sense of reflection and connection.
