François Belot (b. 1982, Neuilly-sur-Marne, France) is a Berlin-based artist working in painting, drawing, and etching. His practice explores the fragile balance between figuration and dissolution, where metamorphic bodies — fragmented, pierced by organic growths and inner tensions — emerge within architectural or systemic environments. Through this tension between order and collapse, Belot develops a personal imagery that resonates with symbolism, surrealism, and narrative figuration, reflecting on vulnerability, transformation, and the hidden fractures of the human condition.
