Gavin Porter Biography

Ireland, born 1970

Gavin Porter is an award winning artist who resides in a remote region of the West of Ireland. His practice consists of drawing, painting and printmaking. His work explores themes of the surreal and uncanny, unnatural phenomena, bizarre manifestations and future nightmares. His artworks have, in the past been described as ' Leitrim Gothic', which is odd, as he lives in County Sligo.
