Born in 1990, Joe Jellico is a multidisciplinary artist, composer, and martial artist whose work is rooted in discipline, emotional truth, and remembrance. A former deputy and member of the Special Operations Response Team, Joe’s life was forever changed by his friendship with fellow officer Devon Lindsay. Lindsay, who was tragically killed in a hit-and-run, played a pivotal role in helping Joe overcome alcoholism—a gift of clarity and strength that fuels every creative act.
Joe holds a Shodan rank in Wado Ryu karate, and his charcoal art is known for its hyper-realistic detail and dramatic chiaroscuro, often exploring gothic, mythic, and historical themes. His music, composed with emotional depth and technical precision, is crafted to be both accessible and resonant. Every piece of art and music is dedicated to Devon’s memory and to the countless forgotten heroes in law enforcement whose stories deserve to be told.
Through visual texture and sonic storytelling, Joe channels grief into legacy, discipline into beauty, and memory into meaning. His music can be found on youtube (238) Joe Jellico - YouTube
