Karolina Wakulinska is a multimedia artist currently residing in UK. She specializes in dark surrealism and magical realism, recurring motifs in her painting are often eyes and skulls, clouds, portraits of animals of all kind in unsettling surroundings. Her chosen format is circle.

She started painting regularly about 15 years ago, developing her style and experimenting with different mediums. Often she incorporates abstract with realism.

Forever drawn to the dark side. Always interested in acquiring new skills, and improving the existing ones.

Art photographer by education ( BA, Academy of Fine Arts, Gdansk, Poland ), she often uses own photo references.
