Marta Tuminska is a self-taught Polish artist currently living in the Netherlands. From an early age, she felt drawn to the darker aspects of life, but her true journey into dark art began in 2019. Seeking a way to express her visions and tell compelling stories, she turned to drawing and painting. Over time, Marta fell in love with the creative process, which became both her obsession and a powerful tool for healing.

The more she creates, the more she uncovers hidden areas of her mind and imagination. Her art often explores the delicate boundary between life and death, a recurring theme that fascinates her deeply. She loves to draw expressive bodies and postures, emphasizing how emotions are not only felt but revealed through the body. Marta believes our physical forms reflect the emotions we experience in the moment, making the body an extension of our inner world.

In her work, she also connects the animal world with human skulls and bodies, using these elements as symbolic representations of the cycle of life and death. Marta works with a variety of mediums, including charcoal, pencil, acrylics, and oil paints, each offering unique possibilities to bring her haunting and evocative visions to life.
