Pictor Mulier Biography

Spain, born 1964

BA in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca.
Advertising pays my bills, painting earns me heaven.
I paint women who want to be looked at, both amateur and professional models with their full and explicit consent.

Most concepts arise from my own fantasies, but sometimes the models propose their own, and as a good accomplice, I bring them to life.
PROCESS
I always use acrylic on MDF panel, primed with gesso.
I work from photos or videos I take myself or that models send me
following the sketches and instructions I provide.

Pictor Mulier exhibitions, studies, awards...

Due to the explicit nature of my work, my exhibitions are mostly held in
unconventional spaces: erotic events, lifestyle venues, or sex-positive
festivals.
I’m now seeking collaborations with daring galleries, alternative spaces,vand curatorial projects that embrace uncensored art.
