SannaThorium Biography

Sanna Thorium is educated in Gender Science, Philosophy, Dramaturgy, Film Studies and Directing at
Malmö University, Linnaeus University and Short and Documentary school in Copenhagen.

Sanna do art with Acrylic, Graphite, Charcoal & transform old Dolls to creepy creatures. Her art is an expression of what she really feels, in moments of despair. It's dark, but not in the state that describes sorrow, misery and deadly forces. She is longing for clarity and structure, though her art must contribute to the dark - to find the innocent and devious light. She has spent her entire adult life dealing with people. Sanna is driven by making the world more inclusive. Therefore, it has been close to her to explore ways to give even the smallest beings a voice and a feeling of being recognized.

Sanna has a background as an actress in Sweden and Denmark. When she moved to Denmark, she started a theater group where she performed in several plays. Now she is working in the TV industry as an editor and a post-producer.

Last year she had an exhibition ArtBySannaThorium at The Dark Gallery in Copenhagen, which was an exhibition of acrylic paintings and dolls of a dark universe.
