Valentina Salvatico Biography

Italy, born 1984

The universe of images is what fascinates me most
and the time taken to draw is that which inexplicably flows at another speed.
In my research I try to transpose meanings, ambiguities,
possibilities, memories, suggestions.
I always keep my eyes and ears open to suggestions from literature,
photography and music.
I attended several illustration workshops at the Sarmede
International School of Illustration
and I have an academic education.
My work moves between painting and illustration, sometimes out of bounds
in graphic and textile design.
finding in collaboration with different professionals the thrust
to develop new projects.
