Věra Kosová Biography

Czech Republic, born 1993

Věra Kosová, born in 1993 in Svitavy, is a Czech artist whose path to art was shaped by personal struggles and deep transformation. Though she originally studied economics and worked in the corporate world, her search for meaning led her back to art during therapy for alcohol addiction. Guided by art therapist Gabriela Sekerešová, she rediscovered her passion for painting. Her work soon appeared in exhibitions across the Czech Republic and gained international recognition, especially in Belgium and Italy. She received awards such as the International Prize Pegasus for the Arts and was featured in Contemporary Celebrity Masters Vol. III and Bruxelles Art Vue. One of her works is also part of an outdoor gallery in Svitavy. Her paintings have reached private collections, including those of singer Ewa Farna and world-renowned artist Lara Fabian – one of Věra’s main inspirations.
