ALDEBARAN by CHARA SAITI

In Aldebaran, I work with powerful symbols — the key, the ladder, the candle l — as a way to explore the deeper structures of the universe. These elements serve as metaphors in my search to understand the hidden forces that govern the cosmos and humanity’s place within it.

Named after the brightest star in the Taurus constellation, Aldebaran evokes the idea of a distant guide — a light to navigate by. The work reflects a spiritual inquiry: a journey toward knowledge, illumination, and transcendence, using familiar objects charged with meaning.

Through this symbolic language, Aldebaran invites the viewer to reflect on existence beyond the visible.My creative process always begins with chaos — an abstract, dynamic surface of color that seems to be in motion, searching for structure. On this expressive foundation, I layer collage elements to form a narrative and bring cohesion to the composition, as if it had always existed in that state.
