Painting inspired by Erzebeth Bathory, also known as Countess Dracula. Her story is truly terrifying; she was a heinous killer of women, a lover of black magic and torture, said to have murdered more than 200 women among her servants and beyond. Convinced that the noble blood of young maidens who were still illibate made her rejuvenated, she killed several of them with inhuman and sadistic practices.
