“In this work I explore the boundary between the organic and the cosmic, between decay and the birth of form. “Nautilus” is a visualized metaphor for the eternal cycle in which nature, despite destruction, continues to create the new.”
The composition is built around an archetypal image, the nautilus shell, a symbol of perfection and golden proportion. But in my interpretation, the form is no longer perfect: it is cracked, fragmented, partially destroyed. This is not just an homage to naturalistic aesthetics, but a reflection on the fragility of matter and the inevitability of transformation.
I use a limited cold palette with a predominance of muted blue-greens and grays to enhance the sense of mystery and visual silence. Spherical elements and organ-like lines create the illusion of weightlessness, referring the viewer to a state between water and space, a space where it is impossible to precisely define the scale and belonging of forms.
The work balances at the intersection of biomorphic surrealism and abstract fiction. It is an attempt to capture the moment when structure is born out of chaos and new life is born out of disintegration. “Nautilus” is a visual symbol of a process in which destruction becomes an act of creation.
