When Viewed from below and upside down, sharks look like demons that are incredibly reminiscent of Japanese Oni. Once I saw this I became completely obsessed and had to make something that highlighted that parallel. I used culture hustle black 3.0 to create a true black void, then painted monochrome in blues and used culture hustle whitest white to help create ultimate contrast. Also there is something lurking in the shadows. Can you see it, peering at you through the darkness of the void, looking through you?
