Artwork description
Like staring into a mirror, facing the inescapable fate which awaits those of us who make it that far, “Old Face” serves as memento mori. His contorted expression, the agonal breathing that precedes his final moment.
Following the first four castings in the series, these next three and all subsequent castings will have similar, hand-made wooden frames as opposed to the antique frames used in editions 1-4.
