The Faces of the Watchers by Jezebel Pride (Sculpture)

The Watchers were members of the angelic realm, created by god to be earthly shepherds to the human beings.

The Watcher’s main role was to oversee humanity and report back to god on our progress.

But the Watchers disobeyed the prime directive.

Instead of observing humans, began to interfere with our development. Falling in love with earthly women, they taught us the ways of sorcery, incantations and the use of stones. This lead to knowledge of the heavens and earth known only by witches.

As punishment for their gifts to humanity, the Watchers were evicted from the heavenly realms and sentenced to be bound to the earth for 70 generations before being cast into the lowest depths of Hell to burn forever.

Some say the Watchers still walk amongst us, and that their children, born to human mothers, are the Nephillim.
