Teyolia unfolds as a visual meditation on the heart as the true center of existence. In Mexica thought, the heart—yollotl—is not merely an organ but the source of life, movement, and consciousness. Raised by hands, it is presented as the ruler of existence—Qnicemitqni yn yollotli, “the heart governs all.” Behind it glows the sign of Ollin Tonatiuh, the Fifth Sun, where movement and cosmic energy converge. Within the crowned heart, an eye sees beyond the visible, while a mouth speaks from inner truth; the white virgula glyphs carry language, breath, and the transmission of wisdom across generations. A Nahuatl text band runs like a living thread, binding word to life.
