“The Fall” is a piece done to convey the emotional vortex I’ve had to go through during an on and off relationship with a very complicated someone. It portrays the beginning, the journey and the end of my experience, the devastation, the heartache and the soul crushing realisation that not only is love the most beautiful, most heavenly thing for anyone to ever experience, its lethal, and can cause irreversible damage. The aftermath of this journey has left me permanently and literally scarred due to the waves of stress, doubt and disloyalty I felt while with this person. Not everything was bad, I was in love. However, I was anxious almost every interaction, because there was limited trust. This work exhibits the power of accepting harsh events that happen in life. By doing this, it makes moving on easier, feeling strong.
