I just started reading all of the OZ books, when this painting came along.

Throughout painting it, I had to think of Dorothea Tannings painting “the mirror” as the spirit of these two blossoms are definitely related.
So this is a homage to all the beautiful twisted and weird Dorothy’s of the world…
