The “Blackened” series present a truly unique style where the medium is led to flow in a composition riddled with runes and arcane symbols.
Inspired by the currents of the Icelandic landscape, lava and rock formations predominantly, each painting becomes a picture of itself, or an “artefact” rather than mere image as a relief.
The unwanted/undesired “Foetus” series were made in Iceland (now situated in North Carolina, USA) and depict the evolution/fate of demonized children in the womb. The series have been appraised and evaluated as a unique and treasurable form of Dark Art; a monumental style that is profound and precious as a living, ever changing artform.
