Artwork description
The interactive series progress and a new path emerges where the magic staves and runes of the artist’s ancestors are brought to life in light and shade of this profoundly unique relief technique. This particular rune is said to have been used to ensure victory during conflict, more so during sporty contests in wrestling rather than duels to the death.
Artist statement: As a body of work, the entire series of “Umbra Illuminati” is centred on change, both visual, cultural and metaphysical. The flowing shapes and details of the relief, mixed with sound sensitive LED lights provide an artefact that becomes an everchanging image of itself rather than merely a picture of something specific.
Safe P&P included in the price – Allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
Warning: Strong and flashing lights can cause seizures in those afflicted with photosensitive epilepsy.
