This series is intended to illustrate the possibilities of an apocalypse in the modern world.
Religion and its fanatics have brought much suffering to us humans in the past.
Through modern politics, the rich buy their way into laws and grow increasingly powerful, leaving the poorest among us to suffer.

Economic mechanisms are deliberately exploited by greedy financial sharks to speculate on food, and people in many countries suffer from famine because they can no longer afford basic foodstuffs…

Science doubles its discoveries every day, and yet there is no sense of progress towards healing the planet.

Entire cultures have perished and experienced decline due to the subjugation of missionaries, the corruption of politicians, the greed of people, or misguided achievements.

The busts of the post-apocalyptic horsemen each address one of these themes:

The Four Post-apocalyptic Horsemen

Religion, politics, economics, and science as likely causes of the downfall of humanity.
What they all have in common is that greed and misguided ideals can lead to a dystopia. Preventing this is up to each and every one of us. Through transparency, control of these powers, and even small actions, every individual can save the world a little bit.
