In “Medusa”, I explore the intersection of ancient myth and raw, contemporary exhibitionism. This piece was born from a specific erotic fantasy shared by the model: to transform into a legendary mythological being while remaining entirely exposed to the world’s gaze. It is a celebration of the wild, untamed power that comes from ultimate visibility.
The Gorgon’s head, traditionally a symbol of terror, is reimagined here through a lens of savage eroticism. A unique detail of this work is the crown of serpents; each one is meticulously rendered as a different, real-world species, coiling and hissing with a life of its own. Their predatory nature contrasts with the model’s ecstatic surrender, creating a tension that is both visceral and hypnotic.
Both the model and I take immense pride in this collaboration. It is more than a painting; it is an invitation to witness the moment where the divine and the carnal collide.
