The Memory of Salt explores what remains after violence, loss and transformation. Two skeletal figures confront one another in a gesture that can be read as a scream, an embrace or a struggle. Their bodies emerge from and dissolve into a mineral, corroded landscape. Salt becomes both material and metaphor: it preserves, scars and crystallizes what has disappeared. The work evokes memory as a physical residue, something the body carries even after its original form has been altered.
