Artwork description
This 24″ x 18″ original acrylic painting captures the gaze of an Earthly being emerging from the tree roots and soil that confines her on the shore of Lake Sammish. Her glowing eyes stare at those that discover her as they flow past her while on the waters of this Washington state lake.
This piece created using copious amounts of modeling paste to extend portions of this mysterious being o past the borders of the canvas. Palette knife techniques and some Impressionistic brush strokes were utilized to conjure the elements within this piece. Metallic mediums were used to highlight the magick in this soul.
