Artwork description
It’s a view through a car window from sitting behind the driver. I liked the idea that the viewer of the painting is the passenger. In a sense an interactive piece. I was influenced largely by Joseph Conrad’s novella ‘Heart of Darkness’ & although the painting is not centred around a journey on a boat, I was drawn to the idea of a journey into the unknown.
