Artwork description

The template and one half for this work is a pig skull, cleanly dismembered by the butcher and then presumably captured by a scavenger, it was found in a field at the edge of the forest.
What may have happened to his counterpart?
Under my hands at least its been completed again with a wood-carved skull in olive.
