Valtteri Saha Biography

Czech Republic, born 1984

Valtteri Saha was born in 1984 in Finland, but currently lives in the Czech Republic, where he continues his career as an artist.

He is a member of the Kouvola Artists Association and the Union of Artist Photographers. His controversial work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Finland, UK, Germany or India, among others.

Creating pictures has always worked as a medium for me to handle my emotions and letting out steam when ever I feel down or bad or dealing with pretty much whatever I feel. It is a medium to handle the absurdies of everyday life, watching news and people outside. It is an emergency valve one could say.

In this sense I am quite of a selfish artist, because I have always made my works for myself and to match my standards not caring so much the taste of the possible audience. Because as much as I want to be and become understood and accepted by the others, last hand I have obligation to myself.

Still I welcome everyone willing to join me and share an emotion. Because that is what I really want to say to the world with my works, please come and feel what I feel. You are invited.
